Program Overview

STEPS is an elite club lacrosse program that is designed to foster the development of the highly competitive, dedicated player.

The STEPS Program will field teams from rising 4th graders (2033s) to rising juniors (2026s).

What Does a Typical Year Look Like?

  • Tryouts occur annually for all players in mid to late June
  • When accepting an invite to the STEPS program, players are committing to a full year membership
    • Fall Season
      • Early September to mid-November
      • 7-10 weekend practices (no weekday)
      • 2-4 Tournaments/Playdays
    • Winter Season
      • 1-2 practices in early January
      • 1 Tournament
    • Summer Season
      • Mid-May and concludes mid-July
        • 6th grade and younger concludes early July
      • 7-10 practices (we try to frontload as many practices as possible leading up to the first tournament)
      • 3-5 Tournaments/Playdays
  • STEPS does not overlap with the spring local youth and HS seasons

The STEPS Program Features:

  • One grade pure team per HS graduation year
  • Opportunity to play with the top players in California
  • 15-22 team practices
  • Entrance into 6-9 Tournaments/Playdays
    • 8th grade and above will attend 5-7 nationally recognized tournaments.
    • East coast travel is not required until players are rising 7th graders.
